    Genesis

    Kendriya Vidyalaya ITI Mankapur was established as a project sector school in the township of Indian Telephone Industry, Mankapur, Gonda (U.P.) in the year 1987. Its purpose was to provide quality education to the children of employees of ITI Mankapur. Initially almost 200 students were enrolled in this school. It was fully sponsored and financed by Indian Telephone Industry, Mankapur. The new school building was inaugurated by Shri Dharm Veer Gupta on 24th of November, 1987. Subsequently, it was converted into a civil sector school in the year 2000 due to financial constraints of Indian Telephone Industry, Mankapur.

    This school is co-educational and affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. It has classes from I to XII, with two streams- Science and Commerce in classes XI and XII. This Vidyalaya is administered and regulated by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
